Race Information
10K Race entries – On line entries will be acknowledged by a return e-mail giving race number.
Race number and timing chips can be claimed by presenting acknowledgement at the Ozone Centre 12am to 3pm Saturday 1st September or 10am to 1.45pm race day Sunday the 2nd September. Postal entries will be acknowledged by return off post.
Start and Finish – The start and finish will be in the entrance to the Ozone complex. The 10k will start at 2pm
Toilets and Changing – Toilets and changing facilities will be available at the Ozone complex.
Route – The course covers a large and small lap off a circuit which takes in Ormeau Embankment, Ravenhill road, Short Strand, Queens Bridge, Oxford Street, Mays Meadow, Maysfield, Lagan towpath and Ormeau Bridge.On the second lap runners go over the Albert Bridge to Maysfield were they rejoin the big lap. See route map. All turns will be signed and marshaled.
Minimum ages – Participants in the 10k must be at least 15year of age. The organizers can not be responsible for any entrants below 15 years age. In the fun run age limits don't apply however entrants below 11 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Fun run - This is a fun event and no times or places will be recorded all finishers will receive a goody bag on completion. The fun run is within Ormeau Park and will be sign posted. Start time 1.30pm.
Prizes – All finishers in 10k will receive a gift voucher for the sports stall at the finish area plus a goody bag as they finish. You may exchange your voucher for a gift or give it to Marie Curie collectors who will redeem its value from the event for charity funds. Prize giving for first three male and female will be at finish area at approx 3.15 subject to weather. Age group and team prizes will be by post. Please note prizes outside off first three will be awarded in categories entered any deviation is at the discretion off organizers
Team Prizes – Enter as many runners as you wish first three counts for team. Only one team per club.
Results – will be available on this web site on the day of the race.

For every entry received as a Marie Curie entry the organizers will donate £2 to the charity.

You can elect to fund raise in conjunction with the event simply select the fund raising option at the entry stage and Marie Curie will be in touch with regards your fund raising kit

When you finish you will receive a gift voucher. If you donate this voucher to a charity worker in the finish area the charity can redeem the value of the voucher from the organizers for charity funds.
